The worst New Years Resolution

I was lucky enough to have my son in January. So right when everyone makes their I am going to lose weight resolution technically I had already lost some weight WOOT!! Even if i did have that lovely jelly belly I had lost some weight.

Well when E. was a couple weeks old we realized that he really didn’t like chocolate. No I didn’t give my son  chocolate but if I ate it and then nursed him it was like World War III in our apartment and trust me he won out. So for my new years resolution I said ok I cant have it anyway, I am going to give up chocolate for a year. And I was pretty proud of that decision what a great and healthy choice I made.

Now its been 10 months and all I can think is holy CRAP when can i eat a freaking snicker bar. E. is for the most part weaned, thanks to the fact that he is so busy the idea of sitting down and nursing really didn’t sit well with him. I did really good for the first nine months but this past month has been awful.

Maybe it’s Halloween and those delicious Reese's pumpkins or other yummy chocolaty goodness but man I have a hankering that will not be squelched. I have even planned my chocolate desert to break my chocolate fast.

yep its this one from your local chili’s! I also have informed my sweet Husband Cade, no I will not be sharing so he can either get his own and share it with the kids or he can sit in the car while I devour the entire thing in two minutes. Mind you I still have almost 2 months until I am supposed to eat this. ‘

But My resolve is waning and I cant decide if I should hold out based on principle or give in because lets be honest 99% of resolutions are broken in the first month anyway and who would I be if i completed mine but the awkward 1%. Chili’s may just win this round.
